Vox Telecom 100GB ADSL Fat Pipe special launched

I am so tempted. Wish they had trial accounts. The roll over thing would be perfect for me, because some months I work harder than others and that is when I use a lot less bandwidth. :)

Is it possible to use in conjunction with current isp? i.e. switch to vox once current ISP data used up? Or when unshaped data required?
 
Wow, excellent price! Well done.

I assume this has to do with the recent Telkom "price cuts" for ISPs, especially IPC.

Now to see how the other ISPs react.

I'm on a 30+30 very thin pipe at the moment so I think I'm off to Vox Telecom.

I can't send WhatsApp photos on my Vox. When at home on WiFi, I need to disconnect ... Send ... Reconnect.

Also battle with a number of video streams

Can't say I'm experiencing the same thing. My whatsapp is fine - same with most video sites i use. Any specific video sites?
 
Great price.

Buy 2 of these, with a BoltOn package to swop over at 6PM at night and you have perfect internet for a very very cheap price.
 
I'll find one for shortly - but the WhatsApp thing drives me insane.

I logged a call months back and probably had 10 engineers/techies call in 3 weeks (service is great!) - but none could help. 'Reboot phone ... Try a new phone ... Restart router'

But it's 100℅ guaranteed I can prove it won't so a WhatsApp pic

Im using VOX, with 2 fones in the house on whatsapp, i dont have a problem at all. Whatsapp just works perfectly for me.

Definitely not a VOX problem tbh

I thought that as well, but it's an Uncapped Bolt On, so you can only add it if you have an Uncapped account.
I'm considering doing this and ditching Web Africa.

I used to be able to fire up my NNTP downloads at any time of the day (exactly why I got capped over uncapped) and now they're pushing their FUP down my throat when it was never a problem before.
I think they're running out of capacity and making stupid excuses.

Yeah, this thread coupled with the general despondency with afrihost, CW, OW etc etc etc is going to lead to a whole lot of new business for VOX.

To qualify for huge discounts VOX bought more than required capacity from Telkom and were considering the best way to sell it. Let's hope they don't overextend themselves with this promo.
