Sansui windows 8" WIB802

Are you going to install Windows 10 on it?
If you do please report back with the results, would really like to know how it handles the new OS.
My concern is the 1GB Ram. I'm looking to get either a Mecer A890A or Proline A933L, but for the price this is a steal!

Mine got delivered today. For R1300, I am super impressed.
8" 1280 x 800 IPS Screen Intel BayTail T-CR Z3735G Processor 1GB RAM, 16GB Storage Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Integrated 3G Micro USB with OTG, Micro SD up to 32GB
Also came with a bluetooth keyboard and case.

How are things on the second day ? everything still running smooth ?
I'm seriously contemplating getting one of these. I was looking at the Proline deal from IC, but those models seem to have some issues.

Trying to get Windows 10 on it. After all the updates I have about 2gbs free from 10gbs. The recovery partition takes up around 5gb

Thanjs for the feedback. How is your general rating thus far ? I understand it only has 1 gig of ram, but for general browsing and the odd game/movie, how would you rate it ?

Some pics I took yesterday. It comes with no OTG cable or micro HDMI cable.
The screen does come with a screen protector already applied.

Screen is good, I haven't done much yet. The screen at its lowest setting is a bit too bright but with it running Windows I'm sure I can do something.
Upgrading to Windows 10 now, will update the thread with how it goes.

You have to remove the partition and install W10 using the OTG cable & USB drive.
You should be able to Google a guide that show you how.

Most suggest creating a USB recovery drive and then removing the partition.
The if you are lucky you can use the in OS upgrade way, else using a USB (or even SD card) to boot from and upgrade.
You will probably do a clean install using the USB.

DA, would you recommend it though ? I have someone that's about to buy one for me in the next half an hour or so, grrrr hahaha

Doing the upgrade via the SD card, so hopefully it works out.

So after the Windows 10 upgrade it wiped out the recovery partition, I now have 4.7gb free of 14gb usable space.

Windows 10, it was a bit laggy at first but I assume Windows Update sorted out any driver issues and now it's perfect.

I looks like there is already one screen protector on the tablet and another one in the box?

No. When you normally buy a screen protector, you apply it and then there's a cover you remove after you've applied it. The screen protector is already applied you just remove the cover, in the pictures I've posted it's that white label with the blue writing, just pull it out.

You sure? Not trying to be difficult but mate of mine in PE bought on today and he said there is an extra screen protector in the box.
It was right at the bottom beneath everything.
He was impressed that he got one already applied and another extra in the box. Just check, you might be pleasantly surprised.
