Sansui windows 8" WIB802

The problem I saw with the Nextbook was the charging port/cable always breaking. Also the Sansui comes with a case and keyboard with a built in 3G modem. It seems to be a Chinese rebranded tablet, but they're all the same in similar spec when checking the online shopping sites like DealExtreme, AliExpress etc.

And they both have the same screen resolution so yes Sansui is a better buy.

3g modem only works when syncing with cellphone so no sim card?

Thanks @DA-LION, you got my out of da-den and messed up my plans for the day :D I first tried to justify why I need a third pad, and then just gave up and went to buy it. Thanks for posting your experience with the Windows 10 upgrade, also used a 16GBSD card with the ISO on, used the rest of the space for the setup. The upgrade just finished up now as I'm typing, touch is working fine, rotate was locked on portrait. Screen res and legibility are fantastic, like you said. Thanks for the heads-up, Hi-Fi corp should be paying you commission ;)

Agreed, got mine today. Doing the 12 hour charge thing, grrr, hurry on up..
You don't need to do the 12 hour charge thing, modern batteries which most tech have these days don't need it. Also I've noticed once the tablet battery reaches around 100% it stops charging automatically.

Awesome, thanks. And thanks again for all your input and help.

Indicator goes off, but small charging current is probably allowed (so called trickle charging). Most devices do the same.

Coming from another tablet, swiping feels easier. Enter TouchPal. Make sure you use the same settings as my screenshot otherwise you'll run into UAC issues also make sure your system language is set to English US.

Okay first up. If you feel the screen is still too bright at 0% try Dimmer

Beat you, found myself up at 3:30 AM playing with the new toy, strangely enough that used to happen to me when I was eight years old too :) Is there any way to zoom in and out on the desktop, I did find the Magnifier, but it seems awkward and crashes when I want to set the view.

Got a Usb2Go cable at the office. :) now to hope it loads the drivers so I can get passed the initial setup.

There's a setting in display that make everything appear bigger never tried it. When I'm trying something I'm in desktop mode or using Teamviewer, if I'm web browsing or watching something I use tablet mode.

Quick question, did you order online from hifi and get the keyboard and cover with it for R1299? I don't see any mention of it included.

Yes online. I wasn't too interested in the case and keyboard, I saw it mentioned on the IC website so it was a nice bonus for the price.

Yeah the case won't make or break the deal, I just think it will be nice for those times I am out and need to type quite a bit.

If you don't mind me asking, what have your main uses been with the tablet? I am trying to justify wether I need a 8" device if I already have a 5.5" phone - I am basically trying to convince myself the 8" device will be alot bigger :D
