Sansui windows 8" WIB802

Yeah the case won't make or break the deal, I just think it will be nice for those times I am out and need to type quite a bit.

If you don't mind me asking, what have your main uses been with the tablet? I am trying to justify wether I need a 8" device if I already have a 5.5" phone - I am basically trying to convince myself the 8" device will be alot bigger :D

Watching movies/series, web browsing and reading. The screen is really sharp. I think of it as a netbook, I installed Office and use it for PowerPoint etc.

I didn't get a chance to try some light coding.

Tablet + Usb2Go + Mouse = Fully functional PC.
Considering even using that at the office as I can remote into servers and have a bigger screen to display out onto.

For R1299 it's a steal.

Also, look on the HiFi corp special booklet, the keyboard and cover as mentioned.

Yeah this is my thought. Getting one for myself for couch browsing and movies etc. Then another two for my two girls to use also for light games and movies. Don't think there is anything better in that price range.

Yeah I saw the ad showed it includes it.

Was thinking I could use it for team viewer etc when I am out the office and for when I go to conferences instead of carrying a laptop everywhere.

Going to read a little more on it and decide then.

Mind sharing how you got everything working?

Touch Screen is still not working. Used DaLions drivers to update but no dice

I don't think the touch screen uses standard drivers, rather software carried over from Windows 8.1.

I dunno if that makes any sense, let me try to get those install packages.

I love this thing I used my otg cable to attach a 3 port USB hub, which picks up my 1tb portable, flash drive and mouse. The only problem is how to charge the thing while doing so because as expected it chows the battery.

Could you use something like Driver Magician that gives you an exe with all the drivers please :)

Btw DO NOT boot your tablet into safe mode without an OTG cable, touch does not work. I learnt the hard way :D

Shot man!!!

Got mine today, just note it will not charge your tablet it seems to power the device plugged in via USB. Not sure if it's the tablet or the cable because I know my Nexus used to charge when I used an Xbox controller to play games using a similar cable.

Such cables "OTG with power" are not part of USB standard. They use tricks to fool device, it might work or not, depends on the firmware/drivers.

Okay re-installed all the drivers as per the "dump" @DA-LION-619 provided.
Still no dice with the touch screen. Auto Rotate and a couple other features now work though.

Going to have to call Sansui or get a recovery partition from someone. Windows 10 install deleted it :(
