The all new Bolt is out in SA.

It has things like a turbo petrol motor & infotainment system even.

The Bolt is sold with a five year or 100 000km warranty, a two-year or 30 000km service plan and five-year road side assistance.

Bolt Hatchback XMS - R132 995
Bolt Hatchback XT - R142 995
Bolt Sedan XMS - R142 994
Bolt Sedan XT - R152 995

hmm 142k for hatchback with climate control and touch screen. Also turbo charged!

Might go and test drive one :P

That's actually not the worst looking tiny little car on the market.

I'm glad you two look actually past the name/badge.

Most people are outright badge snobs.

If the car is actually decent is another story though.

A good friend of mine's wife has an Indica for at least 4 years now and she's never had any issues with it :)

Same here, never had one single issue in the last 3-4 year... I know of a few people who are badge snobs and they had to repair their (new) overly expensive car multiple times because of issues.

Will its engine stay in the correct place this time? I recall at least 3 incidents a good few years ago where the engines would fall out, happened to a good mate's father after he purchased a new bakkie, and another two acquaintances, one of whom just decided to leave it in the SABC parking lot

harmon kardon sound :wtf: thats insane

did i read that right ?

Reading up more & this its proper value.

DRL's; ESP; 5" infotainment system; decent sound; 1.2T turbo motor with 66kw/140nm

One big eyesore for me is the integrated rear headrests they persists with.

It's downright nasty

That doesn't look half bad for a Tata. Pity about the rubbish interior though...

No aircon or did I breeze through too quickly.
A cheap small Bakkie 1/2 ton would do well if priced right.

I'm sure it will have that, as it's a standard feature these days. The same way that they didn't list power steering as a feature...
