Untrue advert for free router

Is the R999 prepaid 50GB + 150GB package (free Huawei LTE B315 Router) a con as no routers have been sent to Rosebank yet and they can’t guarantee that they’ll get them from Cell C before the advert expires? (It’s only available from 15 October – 22 October.)

Is this normal Cell C advertising?

I am sure that the money wasted on printing the adverts is much more than the cost of a few routers (R1899)!

I think Cell C didn't read word 'prepaid', but I can be wrong.

Is the deal a once off payment of R999?
Cell-C doesn't have LTE coverage in my area. Would I be able to roam on Telkom's LTE network?

The cell c staff are clueless about this deal.

Went to Cell c Buccleuch Connect branch and the guy there said it is a sim only deal.
 
I sent my # yesterday. When can expect to hear from you regarding the router?
