Are they really R999?
Can you load them with a normal prepaid sim, and still be able to be on whatever voice plan you want to be?

Officially they are R1799 as for January 2016. You can load Giga200 on the existing SIM with 66c/m price plan, you can still use this tariff. Cell C correct me if I am wrong. However bundle loading will cost you R1799, as it comes from the central computer.

However you can still find old Giga200 SIM pack in some shops. These prices are probably not updated in their systems, so you can get it for R999. There are two problems when buying such packs:
- not LTE capable SIM. You must SIM-swap immediately after activation (cost R10),
- not being able to change tariff to 66c/m tariff plan. It says to me "incompatible plan". You are stick on MegaBonus 99c/m plan.

Hope it asnwers your question. :)
