Anyone else experiencing terribly slow internet right now?

Can't say I have noticed anything out of the ordinary....

Trace routes to sites in SA are normal. To the 3 international sites I access regularly are normal ....

No unusual errors ....

ISP: Webafrica
Area: Gallo Manor

So slow, cannot even load Webafrica's web page.

My latency is almost the same as yours and I'm 1,000 KM from Cape Town

4mbps line : seems perfect.

Download Speed: 3455 kbps (431.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed : 419 kbps (52.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency : 45 ms
Jitter : 1 ms
 
Internet very slugish on Afrihost, even though speed test shows almost full line speed.

I'm in Beacon Bay with Vox and 70kb/s max on 4mb.
 
40Mbps line, Web Africa.

This sucks.

Yet there website says all is fine.
Looks like I'm in the market again

I do believe that there is an area specific issue there at the moment on the Telkom side...
