SABC to fight Labour Court order

Time for the advertisers to pull their advertising from the SABC.

Also, the ANC can stop this - do something !!!

All the government has to do is go "Haikona, we won't pay or bail you out if you waste money on this court order"

These shenanigans will all die down once the local elections are over.

Isn't amazing that Hlaudi sits in his job whilst he apparently awaits the outcome of legal processes but these dudes can't?

Make the managers personally liable for legal costs of this process.
IIRC, they have 5 days to explain why they should not personally be responsible for the legal fees.

I assume this also applies to the appeal.

I suspect they are in a corner, can't personally pay, so appeal and hope for a win.

Just seems they are digging a deeper hole.

The ANC is too fractured to decide on anything. Most of them are waiting to see what the Zuma cabal wishes and the rest are not powerful enough to oppose that cabal.

The judge has to rule that HM and his cronies pay ALL Legal costs.....this is gross abuse of public funds and power.
THEY ARE CHALLENGING THE COURTS but anyone can see that its all about total control of assets and people.
Why is the ANC so quiet?...they only whispered their discontent to save a little face ! NO LEADERSHIP in Govt?

so they denied entry... surely thats breach of court order and someone should get arrested?

The Sabc is no different to any other governmental department. They too know how to crank up expense ratios almost exclusively on legal costs and golden handshakes.

Contempt of court, COO should be arrested and charged.

The situation is this;
Despite numerous rulings against him, the COO is at work (not necessarily working but at work)
Despite court rulings the suspension of journalists unlawful and that they should be at work, they are not.

Odd picture this.
