DStv’s Express from the US balancing act

In short, licensing too expensive and subscribers still complaining so we'll backtrack to old methods and cut costs.

Go ahead, Satellite and even cable are dying paradigms.

people are to0 stupid to understand when a show is on a break basically?

For real. If you a fan of the show and wake up at 2am to watch it. I am sure you will know that the show is on a break or when the next episode is going to launch. :wtf:

Incorporated has an express from the US symbol, yet the second episode only became available nearly a week after it aired in the states. Let's see what happens with episode3, should be available tomorrow morning.

A lot of people will shut up about this repeats nonsense, especially the tech savvy, if and when they make DStv Now apps available on streaming boxes which include live programming as per the mobile apps.

People with Explora's are already using their internet for extended Catch Up. In this day and age they should have apps on all platforms.

Wait, so people moaned as we got the series later, then we got them a week after they aired in the States, people moaned, now it's almost the same time and yet still moaning? They then go to Netflix/Showmax/Amazon Prime and can enjoy binge watching older seasons? People are weird.

It also considering making scheduling changes and altering the way Express from the US works to better align it with subscriber expectations.

What rubbish! They want to reduce costs!

I think it's about time DSTV seriously consider getting their content from torrents, Express from the US

If they added a notice in Catchup to the effect:
E1-E6 Jan 1 to 5 Feb then production break till 27 March

But no we get:
Production break 2 weeks after it kicks in
Half the time they don't display how many episodes in the series and then you suddenly get Series Ended.

My Android box is on its way from China. When it arrives then it goodbye to to DSTV/Showmax and hello Netflix, AmazonPrime and CuriosityStream.

I would rather watch a 10 or 20 episode series over a week or 2, even if its a year old, wait forever for a new episode. Suites is a great example!

WTF-ever Multichoice. You have moved beyond the point where you can expect brand loyalty from consumers when (not if) you lose your sports monopoly.
You have been warned on your own forums (you deleted those comments) and you have been warned on this forum as well.
The only thing I ask of you is when you go down in 2/5/or maybe even 10 years from now, that you don't act surprised.
