A new year, with new challenges and new goals to be reached!

This year we'll add a little something to mix to keep things interesting, we'll still have our overall

Overall:

We'll still have the overall tracker which anyone can join at anytime. This will allow for tracking of a long term goal. Format for this will be:

2016-12-29 07_12_38-Mybroadband Weightloss 2017 - Google Sheets.png

At sign-up, please provide the following details:
- Age
- Male/Female
- Height
- Method of Weightloss
- Highest Weight Ever
- Weight at sign-up
- Goal Weight

Challenge Mode:

We'll also have mini challenges running throughout the year. Each challenge will last 4-ish weeks and will have set start, and end dates. This format will allow for short term goals and to provide extra motivation. At the end of each challenge, I'll produce an infographic for some stats.

The calendar for the year's mini challenges will be:

And the stats tracking for the mini challenges will be:

Note: If you are signing up for the mini challenge, make sure you post in this thread with the relevant information before the first day. Weigh-ins must be done on the allocated days.

I posted this in the 2016 thread, not realising that 2017 thread had been started.

For the "losers" who are members of Discovery Vitality, in 2017 there is a weight loss program. It looks as though it has 3 stages of 12 weeks each. Up to 11050 points up for grabs if you jump through the right hoops. Not sure of the exact details, but given the reduction in points for so many things this looks worthwhile.

Unfortunately:crylaugh:, I've already lost (and maintained) all the weight I need to, so I'll have to search for points elsewhere.

I'm in the same boat. I might lose another 2-3kg next year. But that's it. Anymore and it will be muscle lose.

I'll join up after the holidays. Usually I do kJ counting but might try banting this time.

Subscribing in the new year. This year started off great with regular gymming but ended up slacking. Hopefully this thread will help with motivation.

So since I got my final weight drop for the year ( sorry fannie :p) , I'll start the stats:

Age: 37
Sex: Male
Height: 1.69M
Current Weight: 110kg
Goal Weight: 90kg
Heaviest Weight: 187kg
Method: LCHF/Keto

Yeah I'm game again :) This thread is a nice little motivator.

Age - 34
Gender - Male
Height - 1.75
Method of Weightloss - Krav Maga, want to (eventually) take up BJJ early in the year, High-protein Low-fat diet (IF)
Highest Weight Ever - 90kg odd
Weight at sign-up - 78kg
Goal Weight - < 75kg

So, I've actually managed to put on some weight over the holidays.

- Age: 34
- Male: Yup, that's a dick
- Height: 1.79
- Method of Weightloss: Banting / Intermittent fasting
- Highest Weight Ever: 92?
- Weight at sign-up: 76.7
- Goal Weight: 71

Joined gym in Nov after three years or so of nothing. Holidays messed up any progress made.

Either way, count me in:

Age: 30
Sex: Male
Height: 1.67M
Current Weight: 108kg
Goal Weight: 95kg
Heaviest Weight: 108kg
Method: Exercise/Cleaner diet

Me too, man. Started off great, lost 10kgs in 4 months...ended up putting most of it back on when I injured my leg and stopped gymming. Also with my work schedule I've been home 1 week in the last 2 months, so that causes a ton of excuses to not exercise or eat properly. :/

Excuses are going to be difficult now that we've joined this thread.
