Crystal Mobile APN Not Working

Still using Vodacom data even though all APN's have been changed on the 1st.

Interestingly, Vodacom's billing system also indicates a 'Commercial APN' entry with a R0.00 charge on the bill for March so far, which doesn't appear on any of the other accounts that are using the standard lte.vodacom.za APN.

This must mean they have detected that the APNs were changed, but why then is Vodacom data still being used?

Yeah I am honestly not impressed with the service at this point. Tuesday afternoon they asked for my phone number to escalate, I have it to them.

Yesterday afternoon they asked for a screenshot of my APN settings to confirm that it is correct, I sent it. The email after that requested for my phone number again, I sent it. The email after that asked for a screen shot of my APN settings to confirm. Very confused.

I guess today they are going to ask me for my phone number again.

I got a message about asking for this and after reading your message, i didn't bother to reply but decided to check minutes ago and my sim is now working.

My issue was no data used at all, new sim delivered. Everything good so far, just need to set a limit and monitor carefully.

Can others report if anything changed their side?

Do you have to set a limit? Doesnt it just run out and you top up more manually?

Also an update. No assistance from tech but definitely working on their apn. Thank goodness for that.

The limit is just for my viewing pleasure :p. Actually it shows a limit on the display for this LTE router here so i do that to keep an eye. Gonna be doing many speedtests so it takes data fast :)

I heard from support a control panel for this is supposed to be ready but that was said last week so guess nothing until they make an announcement or email us.

I think it does stop and you topup, who will reach their cap first :D

Also, i tested 3G and attempted 4G, it failed but when i got back to try again, an sms saying LTE activated and i was able to connect. That was painless thankfully.

I have exactly the same problem. Using my vodacom contract data instead of my crystalmobile data

Yeah the radio silence is deafening.

No response from support yet. I don't have the time to go chase them down about it every few days.

Busy chatting with them now. Support telling me "this is a first". So I kindly referred him to this thread.
Anyone having success with the crystal web APN yet ?

This must a vodacom issue... because I'm definitely using my vodacom data as opposed to my crystalmobile data. Also the fact that I have no view on what is happening on my crystalmobile data is very frustrating. Apparently there was supposed to be an email that goes out daily... anyone been getting it?

This makes me livid. I have personally been experiencing issues and have not been contacted by Crystalweb once (I currently have 4 open tickets with them?). Instead they pay (I'm assuming here) Mybroadband to post this?

Shocking.

That would trip me.
