Warning – FNB account deactivation emails

All that is needed is someone to click the link, perform a SIM swap and poof, all your savings gone..

"FNB Customers" or randomly everybody? I understand it eventually comes down to FNB customers giving away their banking details.

But where did they get the customers data if they're just targeting FNB customers? Is the article actually saying that their customers data has been sold off or compromised (now or in the past) and we should move to Capitec? I know a few MyBB members have suggested moving to Capitec earlier.

Benefits of having an FNB account is becoming more useless as days go by anyway.
