Microsoft building AI that can read and answer questions

Microsoft artificial intelligence experts are working on systems which can read text and answer questions about it.

“We’re trying to develop what we call a literate machine: a machine that can read text, understand text, and then learn how to communicate, whether it’s written or orally,” said the researchers.

Microsoft should train / test this AI by getting the AI to go Binging for all the classic BSODs and getting the AI to track down the line(s) of kernel code that specifically caused each BSOD (instead of gracefully avoiding a panic).

Microsoft could even get the AI to search for all the remaining buffer overrun bugs that Microsoft staff keep having to fix.
