Is Evetech legit?

it saddens me to read all these bad reviews about evetech... :/ I almos payed 23k for a laptop

funny how people think. The owner wouldn't pay R100 shipping because it cost him money, but now as a direct result he's lost a 23k sale.
 
What's more important. Studies or gaming?

Gaming cards aren't designed for rendering calculations. So generally you will need an HP Zbook if you are animation and architecture. And yes these cards don't game well. Because the processing is tasked differently.

So if it's for your studies get an hp zbook or dell precision. If it's for gaming well then the pc will do. Honestly I would get a PS4 pro and a decent secondhand zbook instead.
 
I went to collect two WD HDD's personally from the Evetech site in Centurion a few days back and I was impressed with their setup and service. I ordered the drives at 7 am and it was ready for collection when they opened at 9am. Inside it was a hive of activity with everyone helpful and a smile on their faces.
 
They're completely legit, just crappy customer service every now and then. Oh and warranty claiming from them is a nightmare.

So pretty much like any South African retailer :)

The thing is this is what google reviews have to say.. Now to me with a score of 4.3/5 they must be doing something right, but I cannot ignore the multiple complaints about how the after sale service is bad and how they treat customers. So I am still on the fence. I want to get myself a pc from them and cannot come close anywhere else to the pricing that Evetech have to offer.
 
I can vouch for Evetech's bad service. Their Delivery policy says 2 to 3 working days. Its the 3rd day today and the courier company hasn't received my order from them yet. However i placed an order on wootware just after my order from Evetech and already received it. Wootware is in Cape Town. Evetech is in Centurion. I am in Randburg, Johannesburg. I would not advice to buy from Evetech if you want quick service or can go to the store
