In various threads (supper, lchf, morty) people have posted some awesome pics of food and recipes. Let's see if we can create something useful.

The idea is that this thread will be easily searchable for people that want ideas, but be able to filter it be based on certain tags. If implemented properly, wading through endless comments won't be a problem for finding that perfect dish!

Here is a list of tags to get us started:
Time: #breakfast, #lunch, #supper #dessert
Type: #beef, #chicken, #pork, #lamb, #sidedish, #mains, #salad #bread
Dietary requirements: #halaal, #kosher, #lchf, #vegetarian, #vegan

Here is a template that we can use (Let me know if you think we should add/remove any detail)

Spinach, Bacon and Mushroom salad

Ingredients:
- 200/300g Baby Spinach
- 200g Bacon
- 250g Mushrooms
- Onion to taste
- 1 disc of Feta

Salad Dressing:
- 50ml Dijon mustard
- 10ml vinegar
- 50ml olive oil
- Xylitol to taste

Method:
- Mix all the salad dressing ingredients well. Add more as needed, depending on size of the salad
- Cook the bacon in some butter
- Remove bacon and cook mushrooms and onion in bacon fat
- Mix bacon, mushrooms and onion, with baby spinach
- Pour over the salad dressing and add the feta

Ook's Breakfast Quickie (use very little cutlery/pans/dishes)

Ingredients :

1 onion, 1 small tomato, 3 eggs, 1/2 chicken breast (per person) (especially for those who don't do pork)
Optional : slice of toast, buttered.

Method :

Dice onions small. Fry onions in pan.
Add diced tomato. Fry until tomato is soft.
Dice chicken breast. Add to onions in pan. Add salt to taste.
When the chicken meat's done, break eggs in pan, and stir until done.
Eat out of pan, or transfer to plate and eat.

Optional : Add grated cheese or a bit of chilli powder to taste.

It looks like Fanie's created an index... Best suggestion is start there.
 
I've also included the names of the contributors, because I'm sure some people will prefer a recipe submitted by cerebus over one submitted by me :D

(not very computer literate, so when I place a recipe on here, Oom Fanie can put it in its place!)

PS......Will this thread include baking?
