Afrihost launches new Rain LTE-A deals with R999 router

Why is there no SIM ONLY deals with Rain packages? Because the prices for this routers are a bit steep for some of us.

Is Ignite is also selling the router for R999 currently.
 
Is this on a month to month basis? i.e cancel at any time?

Correct! :) These packages are month to month. Any cancellations we receive before the 23rd of the current month will be processed at the end of the current month.
 
@AfriGenie, what is your return policy? I'm afraid that even though I fall within the coverage area I might have bad signal.

We generally need to do some troubleshooting with you to find out why you aren't having a good experience. If you are in a coverage area, your speeds should be okay.

How do these router work i.e does it take a sim?

Can this router be reused in the event that I cancel Afrihost and move to another LTE provider?

Each WiFi router is linked to a specific sim card. At the moment it's only possible to get a RAIN package - from any company selling these offerings - with a sim card and WiFi router.

Cool. But I could sell this router to someone else, who get then get a different RAIN package and use it right?

Only reason I ask is if I get RAIN, the connection is bad and I then decide to go back to DSL. I could then sell the router to recoup some of the outlay.
