Keylogger found in HP laptop drivers

My work laptop is among the afflicted it seems. Busy downloading the patch now

By the way, you keep typing your banking password in incorrectly every so often. It's damn irritating. Please don't do it again, because you might get yourself locked out, and have to do a password reset, which is.....bad for everyone involved

Sorry man, how amateur of me. I'll record my screen and type you the password in clear text just in case you missed it :p
 
Check out HP ZA's site. Apparently there is also an HD audio driver with a similar bug discovered in Sep '17.
 
A repeat of the incident in May this year. Just a different driver.
 
It always needs an independent researcher to discover things...
