The first combined wugmeeting between PTAWUG and JAWUG was held on 22 Nov 2008 at the Country Pub in Kyalami (organized by Xarion and techie). About 90 people attended. The wugs had a lot of discussions - minutes will be posted on the wug.za.net wiki.

Thanks a lot Rudolph and Cara Muller from mybroadband that just pitched up, brought caps for all the guys as well as shirts. Mybroadband also sponsored us a R2000 bartab (which was finished in about 45 minutes). It is great to have an organization like mybroadband behind the Gauteng Wireless Users Groups.

Uniterm also sponsored some equipment which was given to three wuggers in a lucky draw.

I would like to personally add my thanks to rpm and Cara as well. It was a pleasure meeting both of you, and we really appreciated the fact that you came and spent some time with us, and kindly donated some caps, tshirts, and of course, the much appreciated contribution to the bartab!

Now I finally have some mybroadband gear :D

Thanks to JHB and PTA WUGs

It was great to meet some ‘Wuggers’ and have a beer with some of you. A group of particularly interesting and pleasant guys – thanks for letting us join in the festivities.

As for MyBroadband: Please inform us about the next event as you will definitely have a sponsor. I can not think of too many better causes to support than the WUG developments.
 
Damm, seem i missed quite a lot. (arrived a bit late)
but still was nice to see some of the wuggers.
