I was wondering the same thing. Seriously, can she be held accountable for malpractice, misconduct... uuhh.. stupidity? Is stupidity a crime? Can it become one? Please? Anyone at all?
 
It shows what she cares about. It starts with "m" and ends with "oney". She doesn't give a crap about this country, that's 100% clear. How can such a person be a MINISTER? Where do I sign the petition to have her sacked???

I don't think anyone could've said that better. I'm sorry, but what the HELL were the last three years for? What the hell was everyone working towards?? Did this stupid b**** just set us back 6 years?!

This is RIDICULOUS... I can't believe that this happened. It feels like everything, all that excitement, all that hope of revitalising our economy and.... EVERYTHING.... I can't believe that one person can be so... so... selfish? Conceited? Facetious? INCOMPETANT?

Let's start a petition and ask her to be fired or she can resign. That's effectively 9 years after Telkom's monopoly officially ended. 4.5 more years of moving backwards.

Dave Gayle, director of business development at Storm, an internet service provider, said that the local loop could previously not be unbundled before other regulations opening up the sphere had been enacted. However, with other available or developing regulations being looked at by the regulator, local loop unbundling was becoming less pertinent for competition.

spot on. LLU is happening anyway and the Minister is becoming more and more irrelevant and less and less in touch with reality.
 
Neotel would be piggybacking on Telkom’s network while it rolled out its own network and would have the option of leasing the local loop at commercial rates from Telkom.

As long a Neotel is leasing from Telkom they will never be able to compete on price :mad:

i recon the only way we could do something is if we all cancel our adsl subscriptions for a month or 2.
then they would see that will not stand for this.
but the reality is that they know we wont do it and that we will eat their **** like we always do.

Yeah, you've got the latter right. And I hope you have the former right too, it would be GREAT if everything still goes according to plan. But even if it does, it still feels like this... **cough** woman... Has set everything we all worked for and hoped for, for so long back and put Telkom back up on it's mantle.

Where do i sign?..... I mean WTF is this woman actually doing?

Does anyone know how to go about formaising a complaint against her? I really believe that we the consumer needs to stand up and do something about her incompetence.
 
Hey Guys,

Not sure if anyone thought about this yet but does anyone really think the old hag will live another 4 years? So, we might have this done sooner perhaps.. I also recall something about the ANC reorganising its committee and she might be given the boot.. We can all hope and prey.
