Please, use this to put up your woes about OS's and debate them here. Stop hijacking the other threads to prove your OS is the best.

Linux is not ideal for gaming, and Microsoft is not ideal for stability and Mac OS is ideal of pretty pictures.

But. Bill Bryson a short history of nearly everything IS an excellent book.
 
This forum has a great search function you may like to use some time. Loads of OS related threads here that you can peruse.

I don't want those.... I want other people to stop turning threads into arguments about os's.
 
So.... I think Vista is AMAZING, just installed it, runs real nice.
