I would not count on it. MS is supporting it till then with security updates etc. Doesn't mean the rest of the world won't move on (Think Multi-touch, DX 11 etc). This is good, less upgrading to do since I can run XP comfortably until 2014.
This is great, because VISTA is simply crud... I will NEVER goto Vista again, I hate it... and let's not start a war about this, let's all too just agree to disagree.
XP is a feisty little bugger. Its already like 4 (?) years old or something....
I wonder What windows 7 will be like?
I wonder What windows 7 will be like?
I think Windows 3.1 did multithreadingDumb question maybe, but does Windows XP actually support Multithreading (Dual and Quad Core CPU's)
LOL Thats sum funny *****windows 7 is probably going to be more of the same from ms ie bloatware.
im sorry i see no reason why the os has to take up 10 gb. i mean ffs gimme a break. half of the junk in vista dont work properly its just bloat. the last time ms came up with original software was win nt. since then they just been rehashing the front end on the same kernel. till it looks like a venn diagram drawn by a psycopath with shares in crayola.
i mean instead of reusing the same piece of junk over and over and over again why not rather focus on taking one os and making it awesome like with linux. each revision is the same core with improvements. not the same core with a more flashy front end and a whole batch of new bugs.
imho they shoulda never done vista, they shouldve rather taken xp which most ms users like and know and made it better and released it as xp2 or some equally unimaginative name. i mean i wouldnt touch vista with a 10000 foot barge pole that belonged to someone else.
Windows Vista is not for Intel, it has been claimed. The chip giant will not be installing the new operating systems on its many thousands of desktop PCs. It has "no compelling case" to do so.
