Dhaka - A baby boy born with two heads in southwestern Bangladesh has been placed under police protection because of the curiosity his birth has caused among locals, a doctor said on Wednesday.

The boy, named Kiron, was born by Caesarean section on Monday weighing 5.5kg in Keshobpur, 135km from Dhaka, gynaecologist Mohamad Abdul Bari told AFP.

"He has one stomach and he is eating normally with his two mouths. He has one genital organ and a full set of limbs," he said.

"He was born from one embryo but there was a developmental anomaly."

The clinic had been unable to determine whether the baby had one or two sets of vital organs, Bari said.

Well, 2 heads are better than one...
 
But don't most guys have 2 heads ?? I know my wife always says my brain does not sit in the head thats stuck to to the top of my body....
 
ah damn didnt see he died :( shame man.

I wonder what the complications were, probably many.. :(
 
He died because the parents couldn't afford to keep him hospital, so they took him home.
