Music ’n boots always sell well

aaaaaa but read the fine print first!

I hate to break it to you fanboy Toby, but iTunes wasn't the first to convert CDs to MP3s.

And furthermore, APPLE SUCKS.

It's just soooo difficult to be rational when there are fanboys around. I've given up.

To translate my statement: Apple products may do a reasonable job with some tasks, but their products are hardly ever best in class. They're not a gift from the Gods, and users of non Apple products are not "ignorant squares" or "Apple haters". We make rational purchasing decisions based on all the attributes of the product. I have never found an Apple product the most suitable option for the task at hand, and probably never will.

I've been forced to lower myself to the same level as the irrational fanboys who punt Apple's inferior products, throw logical debate out the window and have resorted to name calling. Sorry.

This is probably like debating politics or religion - there's no convincing possible.

Me myself, I use PC, Mac, Linux. I'll say this for the Mac - its superiority is in its design. Even hardware-wise - opening up a big Mac ( lol!, not THAT Big Mac ) is pure pleasure - just yank the side handle and you can work on the machine. And anyone who cannot see the beauty and ease-of-use of MacOS X over a shambles like Vista is due for a bit of mental panel-beating.

IMHO as usual.

:)

Mac works thats true, but mac needs a shakeup(wakeup) because they "believe" they're superior which they might be but they also think they can rise their prices soo high cause they're superior which is unfair!!

Furthermore. I think this music service can work, not that i'll download much music...

If you want a better understanding of comes with music then have a look here : http://www.mobile-review.com/mp3/articles/nokia-comes-with-music-en.shtml

Sure, the music is not "free", a portion of what you pay for the handset goes to the record companies, but in the end you score big time because you get music for cheaper than anywhere else.

Plus, you get to keep them when your subscription expires. Comes with Music is a lot less tied down than iTunes because Nokia is a more open company than Apple. Yes, the music does have DRM in them, but it is still a lot less restrictive than the Apple flavour.

Basically Nokia is looking to make apple crush and perhaps in the process turn up the heat on SE. We all know they have won the battle on the hardware field many times over now, so good luck to them in this new arena of content provision.

Nokia..well nice idea I think this is awesome on their behalf. Already like their phone's, and come on seriously who really wants an iphone? It's little more than an niche fasion acessory. I dont want to touch the screen of my phone seriously dont just not into fingerprints on my phones screen. Sure ipods are awesome, have one and love it but thats about only product I'll probably ever end up buying from mac.
Cause sure the build quality of their products is whack..but just not worth it

DRM are still DRM as they say in Benoni.

/me pees on DRM

Did they not try a music service previously, and it turned out to be a dismal failure?

I for one do not wish them "good luck in this new arena". In SA at least they or whoever represents them are miserable bastards, quoting 12 weeks to fix a phone and then wrecking it worse than it was.

<Whew! bladder much relieved>

Eish :) Ja DRM is a dirty piece of trickery but one can live with it if it is not that restrictive. Although with all your DRM peesing you should steer clear of apples my friend cause iPods look better in white than in yellow :)

Agreed, He has been complaining about Apple's DRM in the iTunes store but if Nokia does it it's ok.
Nokia's DRM is far less restrictive, plus you do not have to pay a dollar for the song, you get it FOC. You should know that, you are a fanboi.

I can burn the DRM tracks to CD and rip them without DRM so not that restrictive, besides I'm pleased to know that the artist gets there fair share of the 99c. The record companies want us to pay more for a track but Apple has refused to bend over to these greedy execs.

Speak for yourself old fruit! One day these guys will realise that their competition is DRM-free and free LOL!

I will admit that iPods are not for me - funny little fiddly things with weird ear-implant attachments.
