I'll admit is not automatic like the Top Up data bundle contracts - you have to load in R14 airtime a month and activate a bundle every month. But you are saving R60 a month and you get something extra depending on how you negotiate your deal [I got R850 of vouchers thrown in as well].

Ahhh, having an accounting degree does count for something after all:D.
 
Not bad, the R850 vouchers should see you through 24months worth of R14 top-ups :)

What is the E172 like, I see some people have been having issues.

I got "vouchers" when I got my contract. You can only spend it on cellphone accessories at the shop at 5000% markup :sick:

You cannot trade them in for cash, you cannot buy airtime and you cannot give it to someone else. They need your ID when you use it :mad:

Anyway, my little rant. :o

You got screwed:p.

I got the R850 in gift cards [R500, R200, R100, R50]. The R50 is for a specific shopping centre [any shop there], while the others can be used anywhere. These cards look like / have the details of a credit card, but with values printed on as well.

Had poor reception here yesterday, so couldn't test the downloads properly on the E172. BTW are we supposed to request a profile change for HSUPA or is it automatic? The reason I ask is because in Ginggs Tool is still shows the uploads profile as 384k while the downloads profile is something like 20000:eek:.
