Sparks fly in 'microwave' Telkom deal

Calling 4 September's immediate resignation !

We the people believe that Telkom is another arms deal in the making and call for generally Corrupt officials to resign.

What about Huawei's R1.7 billion for 220 3G BASE STATIONS. Vodacom has more than 2200 3G BASE STATIONS. Did they pay R17 billion ? They spent less than R5 billion !

I think Voda "upgraded" their base stations, Telkom built new ones....

I like Ericsson, atleast Telkoms doing something good.:)

Why do the unions need to get involved with who gets awarded a tender? What utter nonsense. Someone clearly wanted a piece of that pie and didn't get their way. LOL

As far as infrastructure goes the Siemens system that VodaCom has (had?) is been a pretty excellent one and I enjoyed working with the ticket streams they created. Siemens spec docs are by far the easiest to understand when you are writting ticket decoders.

Anyways there is a few things I picked up in the article that I would word otherwise. Union bosses is something I would call satan's helpers and CWU is the Communists Workers Union.
