Good. It gives some hope that one day I will have usable internet on the farm... By that time 512 might be useless...

Sort out your prepaid on 3G first. In other words, get one new product up and running before launching the next 7 million of them.

Did a quick search but this seems to be something of a State Secret -- OR -- Telkom are a bit slow at updating their "News"
It would appear that this has more to do with COPPER-THEFT than with helping the "poor"

please in future comment about things that u know about and that affect YOU....
i live in a 'rural area' as they call it and our only options is gprs, dial up, or a very expensive diginet/satelite setup....
this will be awesome for most people in the areas it is intended for. cant wiat for the launch date on this

eMGW seems to be an Alvarion technology, Wikipedia knows nothing about it.
