Hey Friends

We have decided to introduce a special deal for X-Mweb subscribers. This deal will be exclusive to MyADSL forum members.

We will offer any 30GB local only client that signs up with OpenWeb, 2.1GB's of free ALL ACCESS bandwidth (local and international), before their 28GB's of local kicks in.

The cost will remain at R130.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Fook it MrBeep, if only my Mom didn't insist on keeping her mweb email addie.

Anyone have any tips?

This is on the IS network, and you will have access to the news server.

I'm also interested, once i cancel my mweb account i will be looking for a new isp and
this sounds great
How can we apply for it or have you just upgraded your normal 30gb local package to
include the 2gb all access?
Is IS any good for news servers?

The IS news server is not all that great :(

VERY good deal indeed. Wow that's like half the price of do2 and you get more local :O

Start switching your mom over to Gmail. Let Gmail collect the mail from the mweb pop.

This way you can ween your mom of mweb quickly and all recipients of her mail will will see a new gmail address.

Might also be worth looking into changing mweb to a dialup account. Cheaper and you get to keep the email addres (if possible) while you switch to a new isp.

I will never ever in my life again use an isp email address, it just makes things to hard down the line. I've been with gmail since trial/inception and it has been great. I can only imagine all the ***** I would have had with all the isp hopping.

you don't even need the dial-up. Mweb allows you to pay for just the e-mail alone. I think it is R39 per e-mail. She can cancel everything else and just keep the Mweb email until everyone is switched over and then cancel that as well.

Yea that is probably best, otherwise will just buy a SAIX local bundle on the side even though it is really expensive for local

Thats good news then, was not aware as I never used them. R39 for an email seems steep but what the hell, we can always move on.

ja, it is just a temporary measure while you migrate them to gmail.
