Agree 100%, but even international news sites have to have "content" to seem to have "fresh" news. Just ignore these "articles".Excuse me but wtf was this article all about? Sounded like a cut and paste job from some other countries telecomms industry rag. Got nothing at all to do with South Africa and mentions very little relevance

Please hire a staff writer who knows how to actually write an article instead of just cutting and pasting from other sources on the Internet. This gobbledygook crap means nothing to us.
This article is a blatant rip-off from here... and gives no credit to it's source...

Is this what MyBB has come to?
I find that pretty much 80% of the articles on MyBB that I read, actually have sensationalistic titles designed to get clicks. "More broadband bang for your buck" indeed, if you're not South African.
Really, rather don't bother with posting articles if this drivel is the quality you expect us to get used to.
The writer should go work at The Sun or Huisgenoot or something.

Is this what MyBB has come to?
But the real problem here seems to be a complete lack of understanding on how the press engine works, with press releases issued by organisations and then picked up and published by news outlets (such as News Blaze, myBroadband, The Sunday Times, or whoever).
It really would make sense to first educate oneself on a topic (for example the concept of a press release or news wire) before firing from the hip. (And end up looking like a complete tit)
So do we then have to be satisfied with shovelware repeatedly posted under the (dis)guise of competent journalism?

Do you really believe every article in every newspaper / magazine / news site is written as an original by some journalist?![]()
Don't be stupid. But some of us do live in hope of seeing the odd interesting, well-researched, critical article here on this site instead of the usual unadulterated crap. There are actually still journalists who write their own stories, y'know, rare though it may be.
Most on-line news sites will only post press releases they picked up from the wire and will not even attempt to write their own (as the mostly have no journalists on board, just a web master).
myADSL is actually one of the few sites that do research and write own articles on the local and international industry and even stage industry events. BTW, when last did you attend the News Blaze Annual Conference? Or the Sunday Times one on 'Broadband in South Africa'?
And you believe you're not seeing those on myADSL?
why do you bother to come here, read the articles and even comment on them?
1. Very seldom.
2. Just happened to pop in to see if anything had improved.
