Telkom’s new ADSL pricing

Article shows the wrong price for 4mb line. I'm pretty sure its not only R131..

Also, what about 512dsl?

No MWEB?

That breakdown makes telkom prices seem cheap compared to other ISPs...pity we know how exhorbitant they actually are...

I wish these articles would state that Telkom is now hard capping at roughly the levels it was previously soft capping. Effectively little has changed in Telkom's offering other than the ever increasing line rental escalating once more.

Nashua Mobile is the cheapest and the most expensive...

Nashua Mobile are rip off artists not just in this but also with their cell phone billings.

I'm surprised and disappointed with Webafrica pricing. From having been super competitive they now appear to have jumped on the rip-off bandwagon.

so in reality you haven't saved anything

At first glance the prices look quite good. Pity ADSL can't move with the laptop.

I just wish Telkom would get their billing right. Geez, if you make the slightest change to your account you invoke seven deadly sins into your bill and then all hell breaks loose.

I migrated to DoBB Level 3 about a month ago and this month I got billed in advance for August, so I had to corker R554 x 2.

And I also wish they'd get the frikking usage stats right. I've used about 600MB this month already, but now the stats are showing I am 6% towards my 5GB cap. ??? WTF?

The Prices for Cybersmart are incorrect, the prices listed include the line rental part.

Nope, because previously you could not actually definitely say how much bandwidth allowance you would get from their product, which meant that you could not directly compare it to other products.

Now that the allowances are fixed, we can compare them directly, increasing competition.

This is a GOOD thing. i.e. Better than the wishy washy average-cap policy.

I'm a little teapot short and stout here is my handle here is my spout , when I get all steamed up I do shout, tip me over and pour me out.

Sheeesh. Only in South Africa... you have to perform ten additional calculations just to figure out your actual price. :(
