New tax on international incoming traffic

one day we all will work for free... we'll be taxed 100% of our salaries.

*waits for some bright-spark at the DoC to pick up on this and think its a really great idea*

Already the case. How much of your income does not land up in government coffers?
Taxed on salary, taxed on purchases, taxed on savings, taxed on retirement, and when you die, taxed for that too.

The system is not stable, and the end will come.

" 60% of the tax will be allocated to a “Control and Fraud Fighting Fund” "

So basically what they are saying, is that they are using 60% of the money to stop people like themselves.

  What a brainf@rtingly great idea!!!

Huge FAIL!

You took the words right our of my mouth.

US42c/min = R3.36/min..... that's a heck of a lot. It's R145'000 per month.... and guess who's going to take advantage of that....

Woah - $0.045/min ~ R0.36/min.

That's not an awful lot, considering our cheapest international calls are R0.80/min.

And does this affect VOIP? Or do they somehow accurately audit your data as voice traffic?
