R 14.50 per GB ADSL top-up from Afrihost

Using em for my home dsl, FTW, going to top up a few gigs this evening!

Webafrica better come to the party. I have 4 adsl accounts with them (3 10gigs and a 5gig.
 
i think i just popped a little.

paying R1300 a month for 20GB at WA - 20GB at afrihost will cost me R290 - a no brainer.
 
I am certainly tempted to use up my Afrihost cap just to take advantage of this. I have absolutely no idea how they do this, but I am willing to support it :D

Wow! I have used 15gb's this month at R29 because it's just so cheap!

I am going to buy another 5 gigs and download that Office 2010 Beta and anything else I can find! This is amazing :)
 
Aaaah, the sneakiness.

Get them used to being able to use the internet properly by providing enough affordable bandwidth to really let your customers USE a lot of what is on offer, and then ... once they're addicted ... offer them a nice deal.

Of course, those of us already running on 10GB-and-more packages can only curse at not having only bought 1GB, and then being able to top - up the other 9 GB's for 1/2 price.

But, no complaints from me.
 
Afrihost, phone who you need to phone, and put cables where you need to put them.

We want to support you, but uncapped 384kbps is where its going very quickly.

But for now, well done on the R14.50 per gig offer.
