iBurst Craigavon tower battle comes to a head

do any of these same people who are displaying symptoms use cellphones or microwaves? Do they work near any other towers? Have they given up their cellphones and microwaves and changed their work address so that they don't have to be near any towers? Consistency is the key here.

iBurst have obviously tried to sort things out with these people, but they haven't come to the party.

@iBurst and Jannie: Screw them. Switch the tower back on. And close the books on this one.

The residents will have their fun until their friendly attorney send them his first bill for those nice letters he's been sending out on their behalf! ;)

I was surprised iBurst even turned off the towers. It shows they have a huge level of commitment to the community they serve.

my guess is these ppl dont read my broadband

if they had they would not be making a fool of themselves like they are

and yes that is an open challenge to residents to argue their case :D

i thought testing are done in a strict controlled environment and not just hey ****er we shoot from the hip style. switching the tower off and waiting for zomg claims is like going randomly into the hospital sticking your cell to the patience's heads to see if they drop dead. we all know this is proven and also unproven that cell signals are dangerous to you health it is a little like smoking it may not be the direct cause but it could help on bad symptoms. cell towers doesn't cause aids :erm::rolleyes:

Wow, these people are idiots, wow really, come on, wake up.

I think we need to go protest there for stupidity, and we'll give the proof as well!

We can't let a couple of rashes stand in the way of progress. If we did that we wouldn't have usefull things like the x-ray or the atom bomb.

Regarding the rashes, my first train of thought is that these people should learn better hygiene.

My second train of thought is that if there is no conclusive evidence, if these people have no intention of dealing with this matter in civilised, constructive manner and if iBurst have exhausted all attempts of reconciling this matter, then all I have to say is ag shame, power the tower back up and get on with business.

You can only do so much.

Yip!

It does show the level of commitment. I am impressed with iBurst.

Craigavon Task Force
Looks like they are only after sensation. Perhaps the Sondag can do an article on them...

Maybe pretend to turn it on for the next two weeks :D see if they start moaning about symptoms again - then tell them the tower is still off :p

These residents should have rather been honest from the start. They clearly don't want the tower there for aesthetic reasons, but instead have started making up all sorts of medical symptoms.

Did all the other operators in the vicinity switch off their towers as well?

The 3G transmitters from the other telco's are much more powerful than the iBurst transmitter!!!
