Thats already available on the G1... take pic of dvd cover, it searches amazon.com... or augmented reality via wikitude.
Original G1 had google voice but also many others via other free apps in the market.

The orignal HTC G1 was actually branded the google phone - I had one purchased a couple of months after it was released via Tmobile us. What it also features is a bandwidth hungry Google interface that talks non stop on your 3G connection... it even defaults to wifi disconnecting when the screen goes off - very expensive if you happen to be listening to streaming radio at the time - ask me, I know ha ha.
Fortunately you can change that setting... but you have to install a free third party app to toggle your 3g connection otherwise it phones home to google even if you tell it not to synch automatically.

If it's basically an HTC Bravo/HD2 with some new Android 2.1 software, it's an awesome phone.

(cough, cough) Has anyone heard about the battery? I wasn't impressed by the battery issues raised about the last HTC Android phones.

yeah these google devices are indeed very battery hungry... hey but they do live online almost 24/7... not to mention data usage. which can all be turned off and managed properly. depends how hard you use it

I like android, the phone does not impress me though, looks a little cheap.

All smart-phones have bad battery life

Also, they talking about a 1GHz processor. That'll put a serious dent in your battery life
