So what do the international company's call their systems that have equal up/DWN speeds.
ADSL afaik = Asymmetric Digital Subscriber LineOk well the maximum upload speed of adsl is 1mbit, so if they offer 8mbit download, they won't offer 8mbit upload
ADSL = asynchronous digital subscriber line. Which means that the upload and download are different(not syncronized). Therefore what he said is accurate in a way.
sDSL?So what do the international company's call their systems that have equal up/DWN speeds.
The upstream on 1024 is only 256.

Edit: You beat me to it![]()
Unfortunately its whats on telkom's website that counts - what you're getting is largely irrelevant and if you woke up tomorrow and it was 256 there would be nothing we could do about it. I'm also on the 1mb line and my upload speeds are no better than when I was on 512/256.I think id know considering i have a 1mb line and it syncs and uploads at 384.
Currently uploading at 38-40. Amazing how every1 is against Telkom and yet they believe everything printed on the Telkom website.![]()
