Do they have residential Home DSL too? This is definitely a better option than SAIX.
Why are we still being forced to choose between shaped and unshaped? 
I found my saix unshaped to be just as good if not better then the Verizon account I had.

Because we live in a place called South Africa. 
I know that ample complaints have been submitted to ICASA so I'm just curious how long they're going to be ignored.Because we live in a place called South Africa.
Which probably means that they'll just make everything unshaped and charge us the higher unshaped price.

Bwahahaha. A$$#0!E$. Because they shaped all their uncapped accounts into non existance, they can offer unshaped accounts and make a killing.

Well, ive contacted verizon before and was directed to their resellers because i am a residential customer. So verizon does not sell to res cust directly BUT their resellers do... And one thing: Why the hell does businesses get stuff cheaper? They got more cash than the residential guys? Ah well... maybe vanilla well sell to me? Anyway, mailed them and waiting for a reply...

Just a question: When they talk about 'corporate clients', then they're talking about ISPs as well, right? ...which in theory means that if the ISPs get a better deal then the residential consumers should also get a better deal.
So likewise when Neotel comes on the scene next year offering products to corporate clients/ISPs, then us poor plebs will benefit indirectly in that the price we pay for our bandwidth should be less?

I am very happy with my Verizon acc from www.vanilla.co.za at around R97 per gig. Low latency is a fact and I get much better skype quality for one. Streaming media included. I am speaking purely from a non political viewpoint - i am not taking into account the dirty behind the scenes stuff and the fact that pricing has not come down much etc. etc. As far as comparison goes, my experience has been very good.
