Telkom Failure: Many Parts of KZN

Hey Friends

There has been a huge influx of calls from clients having connectivity issues in KZN.

I also speak from personal experience as two of my ADSL lines are dead at home, however, all my ADSL lines at work is fine.

Clients have reported faults from Malvern, Bluff, and Surrounding areas.

Has anyone else been experiencing this problem?

I would appreciate your feedback.

Yes, been down since yesterday. Telkom came around to fill up the trenches they've left for the last 3 weeks, and all voice/ADSL in the road no longer works. The people working said it wasnt them, everyone must log calls (Malvern area)

Logged a call and they said it will take 2 to 3 days to fix.
 
Yep have the same problem in Umhlanga... sync light is on but can't connect to the net only gets to the 1st step of connecting then times out.
 
Yes, I stay in Malvern - data/voice line's been down since yesterday around 1pm. Telkom was around filling up trenches they made and installing a shiny new silver box on our pavement. All our neighbours also lost they voice lines. Telkom said 2 to 3 days to fix.
 
Been down since yesteday on 464 (Malvern). Rest of the street lost voice as well.
 
Yep having the same problem sync is fine but can't connect the ISP exchange is 031-569... I guess this is a telkom issue will call then a little later to complain if they pick up the phone.
 
Yes, on 464 (Malvern). Voice/data lines for the whole road been doing since 12/1pm yesterday

I cant get into Openweb account, but all other accounts are fine. I am Pinetown area
 
Work ADSL in Pinetown is slower than honey through a straw today.

Guess the brainiacs are having some issues again.
