Openweb price increase??

I have noticed that I have been billed R10 more this month ... has there been some increase in charges for bandwidth??
Last I read, telskum dropped prices, so y have prices gone up???
 
yes, there has been a price increase. I was also surprised (expected openweb to at least post something).

Also, most Openweb accounts are on IS, so saix price drops do not affect them
 
Hey Friends

We sent out a notice on 10 May this month informing clients of a few price adjustments. Most prices remain unchanged.

This is in anticipation of a new system that is being launched, and the price increase will cover the transaction / other costs that we have been subsidising for a while now.

The notice was sent out to only those clients affected, but some clients have reported that it was not received. I apologise if you did not receive your notice. This is another area that the new system will address, with network notices / package announcements / changes being posted within the client control panel.

This new system will benefit all OpenWeb clients, and I am sure the Instant Credit Card activations will be most enjoyable to use!

I didn't get an e-mail with new prices and the OpenWeb website still has the 10 GB local-only accounts listed at R69/month.
I take it not all the products were affected by price adjustments.

That's correct. It was only about two products that were affected.

We are continuing with our beta testing tonight, and if all goes well, we will launch very shortly :)

All I can say is, it will make the lives of ALL OpenWebbers much better :)

Sounds awsome, nothing worse then having to wait for it to be activated. :)
 
Allow me to login to BF2 and Steam when capped and I'll be your butler for a year :)
 
Uhm which products increased? Mine is still the same, and did not receive any email, actually come to think of it, I have not received a single invoice since I joined again in april

Can't acces my Account

MR Beep Tell me does this new system your implementing mean openweb clients might experience problem during the testing tImes.

Now I'm just asking because strange enough I cannot access my account and had to borrow a friends account just to get a email through to Openweb only to find out that theres no support after 18h30 for emails. So Now I have no internet and being the end of the month I cannot do my work and get my bills sent to clients.
