Teens who play video games do less homework

cant wait for the day that schools abolish homework and let you play video games for education :eek:
 
lies ... mmm ... actually true, but i passed ... got the degree and i still hate homework .... games ftw ...
 
yep same as adamr, I played games in most of my free time yet got my degree cum laude...

Before that "Teens who play to much sports do less homework"
And before that "Teens who play in the street with their pals do less homework"

What would I rather do? Work or play? Tough choice, I obviously cannot do both, so whatever my decision, one will be impacted negatively.

Perhaps I should start my own research surrounding this statement..lol

err, if I'm reading correctly the average time spent by the 28.8 % of males tested who play games (80% of the 36% who play games) then that's a pretty low average time played per day - heck, when I was at school I played the odd 8 - 10 hours of games every day

So, read another way... gamers read 30% faster and do their homework in 34% less time? :) Doesn't say anywhere that they complete less of their homework, just that they spend less time on it. Makes sense, gamers tend to be smarter...

Neither do I :p Unless its for marks...everything else can wait for the registration period of the day its due :D My problem was never games that took up my time, more as soon as I got internet, I found the days get shorter :D
