Hi

We have just recently blanketed the Cape Southern Suburbs with a new mesh consisting of 5 RBs with 500mW Amplifier Boosters running on 2.4. Currently have Highsites in Kalk Bay, Tokai, Retreat, Strand and Constantia.

We offer uncapped, but shaped 128k Internet for a monthly donation of R250/month.

We are currently looking for more Highsites and will offer free connectivity in return. You would need to provide your own RB, Booster and Grid. (should cost around 3-4k.

We are looking to first cover all of Cape Town from Kuils River to Cape Point. If you are interested in being part of this exciting project then pm me!

Thanks!
Rob

Now take the Amps down and do it properly.

and why the heck do you need a frikken "booster" for your clients? is your connection THAT bad? man if anyone is going to use a wisp, keep far away from any wisp that is using and amp or a "booster". actually just keep away from ANY wisp

Ah so you're to blame for my Wifi not working so well then. Take your amps back to miro.

Stop being so selfish and only thinking of yourself. You are not the only one using the airwaves, and you are messing the other users around by using freaking amps. Leave the amps, spend the money and do it decently

HAHA, you making me laugh, you dont know **** about our networks. We keep it in the limit. Nothing more that 100mW.

Isnt an amp a bit like everyone talking louder in a bar?
Sooner or later everyone is shouting and no one can hear anything anyways.

I dont even know why "boosters" is required? ctwug have nice fast connections over distances of more then 15km using standard equipment.

dade wisp === amp didnt u know that? they dont actually know how to do it properly. might as well obliterate anyone else in the ISM band

They need boosters, because they don't know what they're doing.

Either they're gullable, and believed everything the sales person told them.
Or they just don't realise that they're causing more harm to themselves than good.

Either way, its stupid and irresponsible.

And just not to feel guilty they blame the wugs, hello wake-up call, 1 wug in each major city and 25+ wisps. And then u wanna point the finger at us.

omg, not another idiot who knows nothing about wifi, and takes the easy route, and stuffs up everyone else's signals just so he can make some quick cash for poor service...

Yep, the wisps that amp (hint ECC) blame the wug that doesn't amp. Where's the logic in that??

I think the WISPs are jealous of the WUGs.
