MTN offers virtual prepaid top-up product

I remeber the first time this was implemented, very good idea- only problem customers had was the start up capital, hell we used to get it down our throats!:D

Testing 1 2 3

So I decided to call the number to find out more information (083 123 WOZA) and to figure out how easy it really is... and after 4 minutes, I was still hearing stupid hold music and "All of our operators are still busy, please be patient...".

I think what they fail to mention is that you need:

An MTN 32K Sim (given)
An MTN Cellphone (given)
R300 Cash (given)

and the hidden cost:
R50 for the premium-rated phone call to listen to hold music when you apply :D

Well done MTN - another revenue stream opened, and 4 minutes of my time wasted. Good luck with this one.
