It's just a pity that Sony never actually dropped the price of the PS3 they are just having a fire sale...
I have heard rumours of a $100 price drop on the 1st of August for the 360. This would drop the Core to less than the Wii which would make things very interesting. Oh and they are also rumoured to be bundling a memory unit with the Core from now on as well....

Hmm, $50 is nice, but I think they should bite the bullet and go whole hog down $100 on each unit. Although they have some new expenses to cover . . .
