lrn2tracert :)

tracert usually goes further than what zippy posted, the destination IP does indeed block inc ICMP requests, but a normal tracert will return every hop before the final destination host.

today its not gonna work tho because for some reason wow-eu is totally inaccessible from SA. Cant log into the game or the website

I am having issues. Terrible. Up down up down. Timeouts etc.

SUCKS!

?? no idea what you are on about. Get some sleep :)

I did a tracert on eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

As Ho||ow says, it usually goes further, such as it leaves SA :)

I'm nowhere near Klerksdorp, lol! :p

The bloke at Imaginet told me the whole nation's traffic is going through PE. While I believe the folks in PE are a wonderful bunch, speed is not something you readily associate with PE :)

Facebook features don't load, Gmail is hesitant and the rest is just slow... WTF!!!!

ahhhh just as well i had a look here, before i throw my router out the window...SAIX international is dodge, yesterday and today.....i havent had my facebook fix for today coz it keeps timing out

My <censored :P x 2>. It's like this at the end of every month and there's always some lame excuse for it. I hope telkom just goes bankrupt. <censored x 1000 :D >

what praeses said

Its a regular thing every month, just go through the archives on the forums, you'll notice the patter. Now i simply accept it and plan my work around it ie. do non internet work during that time, unfortunately not everyone is as fortunate :(

I think somebody should do an investigation into these failures...I wouldn't be amazed if they were all made up as excuses for a lack of international bandwidth/other problems. I could be wrong but it really does feel as if they mostly happen at the end of every month...
