Why oh why

Can anyone please explain how it effects everyone in such different ways?

Some people here can't access their Facebook - I've been using it all day. I can browse websites we have hosted in the States but can't FTP into them! I haven't been able to receive or send email (unless I use my 3G connection) but some of my clients hosted with the same hosting provide can.

I don't understand...

I'm relaying my traffic through the tor network. I can browse again! May telkom get a cramp for making me go through all the trouble to use a slow relaying network just to be able to surf.

Well the cable break (Bellville Core) is supposedly fixed, but I highly doubt that it was one of the major causes... its still creeping along and timing out for me...

Some sites work fine, others not at all.

About 30 minutes ago Facebook had a notice on the site:
"We are upgrading, we'll be back soon"

I disconnected my international a few hours ago. It's no use!

Same here. Probably all got capped at the same time ...since SAIX wouldn't ever admit that there's always problems at the end of the month...

I.S is definitely up the creek - tested it with capped and uncapped accounts since 8pm. SAIX seems to be flying atm. don't know how long this will last " month end blues " ?

Web Africa shaped or unshaped - abysmal either way. Even using the verizon configuration.
