Telkom focused on lower prices, better customer service

I'll be happy to pay R199 on do1, just bump me up to 1Mb or higher and give a decent cap..how many times must we spew out the same ol' stuff?

Price reductions in the pipeline... whats to stop them from doing it now. My bet is they are waiting to see what Neo is going to offer.

Hmm, did telscum not focus on consumer centric policies back in 2000? Was that not their driving force like 10 years ago.

Here we go again. Some CEO throws around a buzzword "Consumer Centric" and thinks that will solve their problem.

ROFL. Sad, sad SAD!

So a month ago there were going to be no more price reductions. Now there are going to be more reductions? It's funny how the cost of bandwidth can come down without any new submarine cables being installed. Just shows you that Telkom have no shame in abusing this country, and only once they are starting to feel guilty or under some pressure do they see it fitting to lower the price by a few cents. !(*#(!@ you Telkom

IMO just for me 384/512k with a decent cap would do! :D

When ever I see Telkom, Customer Centric Culture and Competitive pricing in the same article I feel like throwing up.

What Telkom is trying to say is, they were forced to make price changes, but if they could they would charge more.

September is continuing what Telkom’s previous CEO, Papi Molotsane, started and promised to place customer centricity at the core of Telkom’s strategy.

Wait, wait! Didn't he get fired???

The irony...

Anyway, nothing we hadn't heard before. And sorry Reuben, your recent reductions are anything but 'aggressive'...

yes Juice I know that, that's why I added the disclaimer in the form of "or under some pressure" :(

Lol now why should believe any of this. Has the Telkom spin doctors not spewed out similar lines a few years back? Has it made any difference?
As far as price redutions go, well they simply don't get what that word means IMO. Drop the price for one service and hike the price of another... Yes aggressive pricing both up and down.

And probably said in Mauritius

Is this what the whole Mauritius gravy train was about.

Waste of money if you ask me.

Price cuts? sorry i failed to notice where i am saving money. give me unshaped uncapped local bandwidth for a start, that might make me smile.

all this has been said before and nothing much has happened.

They've been focusing on it for a while now. Their eyes must be getting sore!

If they drop the prices by 1c then I suppose they think they've accomplished their goal!
