most of the time the crackers leave a message. unless numetro just took the database down to prevent them from gaining access to it.

They did. Nu metro must have pulled it down.

And it still hasn't been fixed yet!! Surprised Numetro hasn't pulled the plug on the server - can't be good for business

Eish - they're running MS SQL - was probably done via a SQL injection attack then

SQL injection is still open to the world on the numetro site. That should have been the first thing they fixed even before getting the site back up :|
