Government welcomes Tata IT plan

Tata is a parent of the absent NeoTel right?

IBIWISI.

Hope their I.T is better than their cars , i though fiat cars were bad!
I worked with some of these Indian guys on a IT project few years ago (5 of them). Please not again! or sent the better guys!

No mention of the fact that the government's AA/BEE policies have directly contributed to the skills shortage.

Would it be too far fetched to assume that an Indian minister would have as much affinity for Indian investment as an English person might have for British investment?

Good Idea

South Africa had a large IT skills base, but the majority of those skilled staff leave the country due to crime, or due to the BEE/AA policies the beloved government has put in place.

I beleive in developing people in this country but the way the government is doing this there will be noone left to do the teaching anymore. you cannot just learn experience overnight. Experience is built up over years of work. to train the skills is fine but to not be able to learn from others experience will basically cause the skills taught to become redundant.
