I agree.

Compared to vodacom, iburst is small fry. Even now vodacom is doing more for wimax than iburst, sentech and neotel have done combined. Yet, for some reason, government (icasa, or who ever) wont give them their own license!

Just shows you how corrupt this all is.
 
hell - if the regulator says you cannot have wimax spectrum....

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone can do a better job that what Iworst are currently doing.

I was thinking the same thing, but IIRC WBS is partly BEE owned - not sure to what extent though, so maybe, for now, this is as much of WBS that Vodacom can buy without running into trouble from complaints lodged with the Competition Commission, also I expect Vodacom would prefer to wait for the licence conversions to take place before discovering that !CASA & the Dementia of Communistications have pulled a "fast" one.
