Well this article is premature. The GRID has not launched yet. We are in Beta testing phase. The website you see is merely a placeholder until launch date.

Anyone have an idea how to show a contact's location on a map in The GRID?
I registered under two different usernames, and want to try this out. Funny enough the MTN number shows my location as being 50km away from my true location, but the Vodacom one is accurate within 800m.
The only response that I get when trying to view a contact's location, is: <username> does not want to reveal his/her location. How do I authorize this?

I just typed in my cell number without registering and got my location, those who like privacy will not like this, find out if your spouse is cheating etc
Edit, no I'm mistaken the map seems to be the random generic map that was near to where I lived, it is showing a map now with dijon, paris, my number does nothing
