    stay away from supersonic

    For anyone contemplating signing up with supersonic, I would advise that you steer clear completely. I have a new 15/15 installation with them and octotel. The line is unstable. Speeds drop to 2mbps even when plugged directly into the ONT. I logged a fault with support, they called me a few days...

    So I ended up having to leave that apartment because of flooding, and am moving to another that has an existing octotel line. I enquired about getting set up over there, but it seems there's a R750 connection fee. Is that the norm?

    @PBCool howsit? Is there anyway to expedite the line reconnection request from CI to Octotel? Afrihost has released my line, and all that is needed is the reconnection request according to Octotel.

    I cancelled my Afrihost account last month. I was offered a month free as part of their olive branch policy. I accepted it which means I should have October free, and then I'll switch to another ISP. Today I got an invoice for next month. Convo on 3 Sep. Me: want to take the free month...
